What’s Your Talent

We all have God given talents. Many of us are still trying to find out what that might be and many of us know exactly what that is. I don’t think the hard part is knowing what our talent is. I believe the hard part is putting our talent to work, sharing it with the world, and blessing others with our gift. Our talents can range from being an incredible parent, a rocket scientist, a missionary, a doctor, a teacher and of course an artist.

When you look back through history we see a big change in the music area. You can find what you think is a rock and roll station only to find out there are numerous types of rock and roll. You have classic rock, country rock, heavy metal rock, alternative rock and the list goes on. This is the same for all types of music. If the types of music in any one category are so diverse everything else around it must be, too. Look at the ways in which we can listen to music. Radio and tapes the old fashion way, cd’s, computers, internet, ipod, by the time you read this article all of the above may be considered old fashion.

What about getting known in the music industry. I would think in some ways this is easier as well as harder. Now you can produce you own music in the comfort of your home and send it all over the world through the internet. Boy have things changed. I grew up with a brother who was in a band from the time he was 12 years old. He taught himself how to play guitar at a young age. Our home was always full of loud music. For some reason our home was the place to practice. I watched them go from a garage band to touring big clubs from New York to Florida. So, what does this have to do with anything?

Just recently I had the change to meet a young man Henry Vargas. He is a very talented young man in many areas, not just music. After talking with him I realized what incredible opportunities are out there for musicians today. This young man has an online community where musicians and artist receive monthly training on marketing, sales, music development, and even song writing. Not only can they develop their God given talents, but they can also learn how to sell and market their music or their talents pertaining to the music industry. Henry Vargas also gives musicians the opportunity to be interviewed, appear on his TV show, and receive free promotion and exposure through his marketing efforts. And if that wasn’t enough you can sign up for a 30 day trial for only $1.00.

With opportunities like this there is no reason for anyone to not be able to share their talent with the world. Henry can be reached at [email protected] or you can check out his web site at http://www.MusicGeniusLounge.com

Men's Fashion Trends

One of the great things about men’s fashion is that while trends come and go, such as the polyester suit of the 70s and the punk look of the 80s, it always seems to gravitate back towards a clean and masculine look. 2011 has definitely brought a major resurgence of […]
