If there’s a secret rock star in you longing to get out, this season’s designer fashion collections have got everything you need to get the look. In case you’re not sure where to start looking, we’ve put together some of the best designer labels to go to for hot jackets, sleek skinnies and sizzling tees.
The jacket
A jacket is essential for any rock chick in the making. Black leather is the classic choice and there are some stunning designs to choose from. Or why not add a touch of glam rock with a sequin jacket to dazzle your fans. Where to find these? IRO have a fine selection of irresistible short jackets this season, including several black leather designs and the Dylan sequin jacket.
The jeans
These have got to be skinnies of course, but don’t be content with just any old pair of skinny denims. Check out all the fantastic prints out there. Is leopard print your thing, or snakeskin print? Both of these are incredibly hot right now. Or go for the more restrained but equally stylish grey stars just released by Current/Elliott. This designer is a good one to check out for the very latest in denim trends, with new prints and designs to rock your wardrobe appearing regularly. Or look at J-brand with their broad selection of jeans in plain denim or funky prints.
The T-shirt
A plain tee always looks great with skinny jeans and leather jacket, but what rock star can manage without a cool printed tee. Look at Zoe Karssen for hot rock n roll slogans on T-shirts, or how about Sass & Bide’s original prints. One thing to beware of – don’t overdo the prints – if you go for leopard print in your skinny jeans, choose a fairly plain tee to go with it, otherwise the look will be rock star OTT rather than rock star chic.
The accessories
Big dark glasses are a must of course, perhaps a couple of chains casually slung round your neck, and a killer pair of boots to finish it all off.
If you can’t find these designer labels at a store near you, look for a reputable online designer fashion retailer to get the very latest styles fresh from the designers themselves.
